Teaching Assistant – Cambridge
Are you passionate about working with young children and nurturing their creativity? Razzamataz Theatre Schools Cambridge is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to primarily work with students aged 4-8.
As a Teaching Assistant, your role will involve supporting the delivery of high-quality performing arts lessons for students aged 4-8 years. You’ll foster a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging creativity, confidence, and self-expression among our younger students.
Person Specification: We’re looking for individuals who:

We have a vacancy for a Drama teacher to start in September 2024. An employed position we are looking for someone to work weekends, teaching Saturday classes. There may be an opportunity to get involved with delivering our School Clubs subject to availability.

We are on the lookout for an inspiring, hard-working individual with a passion for delivering high quality performing arts tuition to join our expanding team. We are looking for a drama teacher for 6-18 year olds, who can teach musical theatre and commercial styles.

- What do we do? We offer dance, drama and singing classes, workshops, parties and holiday schools.

The role
What’s required?
- Experience teaching and/or working with children and young people
- A caring nature, an affinity with children and a mature and responsible attitude
- A passion for teaching performing arts, particularly drama, to children aged 4 – 18
- Aptitude for creating and co-ordinating fresh, innovative material for termly presentations
- Reliable, punctual, organised and committed team player – you’ve got to be prepared to role your sleeves up
- A passion for good customer service
- Able to have fun!
What’s involved?
- Weekly lesson planning
- Delivering awesome classes and coordinating pieces for performances
- Attending team meetings and contributing ideas for the forthcoming term
