Drama Teacher
Razzamataz Theatre Schools Sheffield are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to teach Drama to ages 6-8 years on a Saturday.
You must be creative, inspirational and able to deliver a varied, exciting yet stretching curriculum across musical theatre and commercial styles. We are looking for professionals who are able to use their knowledge, skills and expertise of the industry to inspire and train our students and build on the technical knowledge they have already achieved.
The position is between 3 and 4 hours of different classes with the strong possibility of extra hours.
The job role includes, but is not limited to:
-Working as part of a team committed to providing high quality performing arts training
-Taking responsibility for all your classes performance numbers
-Preparing/following weekly and termly lesson plans
-Instructing students in both musical theatre and commercial styles of performance
-Preparing students for termly presentations
-Good organisation skills
-Excellent communication skills
-A natural affinity with children
-A passion for teaching and for the Performing Arts.
Classes are held at Meadowhead School, Dyche Lane, Sheffield, S8 8BR on Saturdays during term time. Experience of the Performing Arts and/or teaching drama is preferred.

Teaching Assistant
Due to the expansion of our vibrant theatre school we are looking for enthusiastic, hard working and energetic teaching assistants to join our team and aid in supporting our younger students aged 4-8 years in dance, drama and singing!
This role is perfect for anyone wishing to gain more experience in both performing arts and teaching.
Teaching experience is not essential as training will be given.
Classes are held each Saturday morning during term time.

We are also seeking a dance teacher to teach our Project Intense classes.
Project Intense is designed to be fast paced, in-depth and engaging, pushing our students to the next level, preparing them for professional college. The successful applicant will need to be confident in all styles of dance, from core ballet technique through to technical jazz, commercial, musical theatre, tap, lyrical and street dance. The ability to alter your teaching style to suit all levels of capability – from very beginners to experienced – is essential as well as having the versatility in your teaching to suit various learning methods. Encouragement, understanding, patience and care in your teaching is essential, as well as the creativity to keep young minds engaged.
Our theatre school is based in Maidstone, Kent and our classes run on Saturdays during term time.
We work hard to support our teachers with time for auditions and professional work projects. We make it a priority to work with the very best teachers, we pride ourselves in offering the very best variety of performing arts training for young children.
Positions start from September, pay ranges between £17 – £25 per hour depending on experience.
