Razzamataz invests in teams with creative workshops

The heart and soul of any theatre school are the team of teachers and staff who work tirelessly to inspire and bring the very best out of its students. As part of its #20YearsAmazing birthday celebrations, Razzamataz Theatre Schools have invested in its teams across the UK with a series of workshops run by industry professionals and experienced Razzamataz Principals.

The aim of the Team Celebration Days is to give staff the confidence to be the most dynamic presence in the room to inspire their students and create a fun and lively atmosphere. There are four separate sessions; on Sunday March 1st in Cumbria, Sheffield and Dorset and on Sunday 8th March in West London.

The fun sessions will give the Razzamataz team members news skills and exercises to take back to class and have a fun networking session with other team members in their region. It will also give them the chance to learn about career progression with Razzamataz. Many former teachers and staff are now Principals and there will be an opportunity for them to understand more about the franchise process and how it supports Razzamataz staff in business by giving them access to training, mentoring and full support.

The inspiration behind the Razzamataz Team Celebration Days are to celebrate a wonderful twenty years in business and a thank you to the amazing team of people who have helped to shape the next generation of performers and confident young people. These include everyone from teachers, assistants, front desk hosts, assistant Principals and Principals who come together to form a team and make Razzamataz a wonderful inclusive environment that allows children to shine. The days are led by Razzamataz Principals and feature a full agenda to learn from each other’s experiences and create new ideas.

“We are delighted to welcome our trainers to our first Team Celebration Days to work with our team members across the network,” says MD and Founder of Razzamataz Denise Hutton-Gosney. “We offer lots of training, support and motivational sessions to our Principals so it is a natural progression to open this up further to our teachers. We are really excited to get to know them more and find new techniques and tips to further motivate our students.”
