The world might feel a bit complicated right now but more and more individuals are choosing to invest in their futures while supporting the next generation. With a mission to shape the young people of tomorrow through performing arts education, Razzamataz Theatre Schools is attracting ambitious and creative entrepreneurs to their franchise network. Joining their multi-award winning network is three new Principals who have just completed their comprehensive franchise training and are now gearing up to launch their own schools in South Lakes, Preston and Leeds.
Snapshot of Training
All new Principals take part in an in-depth, five-day training programme designed to equip them with everything they need to confidently run a successful Razzamataz school. From safeguarding and operations to customer service and marketing, the sessions are led by specialists in each area of the business, ensuring that every new franchisee has a solid foundation to build on.
“I can’t believe how much we packed into five days,” says Lorraine, Principal of Preston. “Training was thorough and well-structured. It covered all the core areas: business operations, child safeguarding, lesson planning, marketing strategies, and customer relationship.”
This comprehensive approach means that franchisees come from all walks of life. Whether they’re experienced in performing arts or completely new to the sector, the structured support means no one is starting alone.

A Strong Community of Support
One of the key benefits of joining the Razzamataz network is the ongoing support offered long after training ends. Every new Principal is assigned a dedicated Support Manager and a personal mentor, an experienced Razzamataz franchisee, offering guidance and encouragement as they build their schools.
“The team at head office was incredibly supportive and clearly passionate about the values behind Razzamataz,” adds Lorraine. “There was a strong focus on child welfare and inclusivity, which aligned perfectly with my own values.”
“I also really enjoyed meeting the other new Principals, they were so supportive,” says Chaneen, Principal of South Lakes. “It was reassuring to know we’re all in this together, and I picked up so much extra insight from their varied work backgrounds too.” Lorraine adds to this by saying: “Learning about their journeys gave me inspiration and made me feel like I was joining a family, not just starting a business.”

Encouraging Creativity
Throughout the training, new franchisees are encouraged to bring bold and creative ideas to the table, matched with a mindset of practical, purposeful implementation.
“One of my biggest takeaways was the encouragement to be bold and ambitious with my ideas, but also to match that. with bold and ambitious implementation,” says Chaneen. “It’s not just about having big ideas; it’s about backing them up with confident action.”
Razzamataz’s proven business model, paired with this blend of ambition and structure, has created the ideal environment for new franchisees to feel confident to explore their creativity and create the business that reflects their own passions, goals, and lifestyle.

Enter the Future Founders competition for your chance to launch a theatre school in either the UK or UAE. Razzamataz is launching a unique initiative offering two entrepreneurs a franchise opportunity and a £10,000 start-up grant, totaling up to £25,000 each. This initiative aligns with the growing demand for entrepreneurship in educational sectors and was the brainchild of Denise Gosney, the founder of Razzamataz Theatre Schools, who appeared on the UK’s BBC Dragons’ Den and secured £50,000 investment from serial entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne.
“Future Founders is about opening doors for passionate individuals who may not have the resources to launch a business on their own,” says Denise. “We’re giving two people the chance to step into a ready-made framework of success, backed by a £10,000 start-up grant, a full franchise package, and all the support they need.
