Are you a professional performer thinking about what comes next? Maybe you’ve had to step back due to injury, or you’re considering retiring but unsure where your next move will take you. That was exactly where Ellie found herself.
From the age of just two and a half, Ellie lived and breathed performing arts. After graduating from the Northern Ballet School, she went on to travel the world as a professional performer on board luxury cruise ships, living out her dream.
But in 2022, everything changed. A leg injury forced Ellie to step away from performing full time, and like many in the industry, she was left wondering what the next chapter of her life would look like. With years of teaching experience, she knew she wanted to stay connected to her passion and more importantly, she wanted to inspire the next generation.
That’s when she discovered Razzamataz and the opportunity to take over Razzamataz Leeds from two exceptionally committed Principals who are considering their own retirement plans.
“After meeting and speaking with the current Razzamataz family and hearing about its values and mantra, I felt inspired to join and take over the role of Principal from two incredible icons such as Phil and Jude. I aim to continue and build on the legacy they’ve created in the area utilising my background and knowledge to inspire and encourage our young talents.”
Ellie brings a wealth of diverse experience, having worked in the corporate world before launching and successfully running Carmina Entertainment since November 2024. However, for former performers without business experience, this won’t be a barrier. During training, they’ll gain access to a wide range of industry experts and receive comprehensive support, including one-to-one mentorship and proven systems designed to help every franchisee succeed.

Ellie will join the other new Principals at franchise training where she will immediately have access to a network of support where collaboration, encouragement, and shared success are at the heart of everything we do.
