Whether you’re a recent graduate, performer, career-changer, parent returning to work, or aspiring entrepreneur—we’re giving you the chance to win a Razzamataz franchise territory and kickstart your journey into business ownership.

Winners of BBC’s Dragons’ Den, Razzamataz Theatre Schools is a multi-award-winning franchise network that’s helped countless individuals transform their passion for the performing arts into thriving businesses. Now, as part of our 25-year celebration, we’re opening the door for one ambitious person (or pair) to join our growing UK network—with a prize package worth up to £25,000.

How to Enter

Applications open 1st September 2025 and close 30th September 2025.

To enter, you’ll need to:

  1. Submit an online application form (see below)

  2. Record a short video pitch telling us why you’re the perfect fit, once you have recorded your video you must submit this via WeTransfer www.wetransfer.com and email to [email protected]

  3. If shortlisted, you’ll pitch live to our panel in an online meeting on 10th November 2025

You can apply solo or as a duo. You must be 18 or older, UK-based, and ready to build something of your own.

How do I submit my application?

To apply, please complete the online application form found above. Make sure to answer all the questions thoroughly, reflecting on your journey, passions, and why Razzamataz is the right fit for you.

Yes, a video submission is mandatory. Please include your WeTransfer in your application form. Applications without a video upload will not be considered.

Your video should showcase your personality, passion, and why you believe you’re a strong candidate to join Razzamataz. Think of it as your personal pitch.

You will need to register in advance to attend a Discovery Den session. The Razzamataz Discovery Den is your perfect starting point. Whether you’re a creative professional, a parent seeking a flexible career, or someone ready to take on a new and exciting challenge, this is your chance to learn about the vibrant world of Razzamataz and how you can become a part of it.

At our Discovery Den, you’ll meet our amazing team and current franchisees, who will give you a behind-the-scenes look at life as a Razzamataz Principal. You’ll get all the insights you need to decide if this fun, rewarding, and impactful opportunity is the right fit for you.

The dates and times for Discovery Den sessions are:

  • Tuesday 2nd September 2025 at 18:00 (UK Time)
  • Thursday 4th September 2025 at 12:00 (UK Time)
  • Monday 8th September 2025 at 10:00 (UK Time)
  • Tuesday 23rd September 2025 at 16:00 (UK Time)

You will need to register in advance to attend a Discovery Den session via XXXX. 

No, all applications must be received by 30th September 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.

  • Individuals aged 18 or over, residing in England, Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland.
  • Entrants must have a UK bank account, no criminal record, and be able to provide satisfactory references.
  • One entry per person or per team of two (co-guarantors).
  • Entries from companies or those affiliated with competitors are not allowed.
  • A free Razzamataz franchise territory.
  • A grant of up to £10,000 for start-up costs.
  • The winner must sign a franchise agreement, commit to a 5-year term, and launch by September 2026.

You will be required to pay for travel, accommodation, and expenses for 6-day training in Penrith (16–21 March 2026).

You must also be able to provide a minimum of £5,000 in personal funds for working capital and be able to cover ongoing franchise fees as outlined in the franchise agreement.

The grant is awarded after you have submitted a business plan and expenditure plan after signing the franchise agreement.

Razzamataz will release grant funds based on approved items. The grant is subject to audit and must be used for setup purposes.

A judging panel will assess applications and videos and the top 5 shortlisted candidates will pitch on 10th November 2025.

The winner will be the highest-scoring participant in the pitch.

Around 17th November 2025. The winner will be contacted via email and phone and must respond within 7 days. The winner must respond in writing to confirm they accept the prize and associated terms and conditions.

The winner will initially be announced privately to ensure all checks and references are completed and satisfactory. These will need to be returned in 5 working days from them accepting. Once the due diligence is complete the winner will then be announced publicly around 2nd December 2025. Please do not announce any details of winning publicly on social media until all references and checks have been completed.

If you win an accept the prize you will be entering into a legally binding agreement for 5 years to be the business owner and Principal of your own Razzamataz Theatre Schools.
