Dance your way to a holiday in the sun with Diversity

Calling all budding young dancers. You could win a holiday to one of the fantastic Eurocamp parcs in France if you think you have the moves to impress a group of the UK’s most talented street dancers.

The winner of Britain’s Got Talent, Diversity, will be judging along with Lizzie Gough who has recently finished appearing in ITV’s DANCE DANCE DANCE presented by Alesha Dixon. The dancers are taking time out of their busy schedules to judge a new competition for aspiring young dancers. The competition is to celebrate the launch of the new Razzamataz Performing Arts classes at Eurocamp.

Parents or guardians of children from the ages of 1 to 17 can simply upload a video demonstrating their child’s ultimate Eurocamp dance move via the Eurocamp Official Facebook page by deadline 14th May 2017. Entry videos must be no longer than one minute in length and need to include a name for the dance move.

Diversity and Lizzie will select a winner who will be offered a Eurocamp holiday worth up to £1000/€1000 for 2 adults and up to 4 children (aged 17 or under), at either La Croix du Vieux Pont or Domaine des Naiades, subject to availability, including return ferry or Eurotunnel crossings.

As well as the holiday, the Eurocamp dance moves will be incorporated into the classes this summer and the winner will have the opportunity to hone their talent with a year’s scholarship to their local Razzamataz.

“This is an exciting opportunity for a youngster with a passion for dance,” says Denise Hutton-Gosney, MD and Founder of Razzamataz. “It really does not matter if you haven’t had any formal training because we are looking for raw talent and someone with originality and flare.”

The competition aims to find the ultimate Eurocamp dance move and should reflect the spirit of happy holidays in the sunshine. Those taking part do not have to have any dance experience but the judge will be looking for moves that can be incorporated into the new performing arts clubs at Eurocamp: Mini Learn to Dance, Star Academy and Street Dance.

Mini Learn to Dance is the perfect environment for the youngest holidaymakers to have fun singing and dancing and making new friends. Children aged 1-3 and their grown-ups will join a fun-packed 1-hour session of dancing, singing and imaginative play based around jungle, circus and farm themes.

Older pre-schoolers aged 3-5 can go it alone for a magical experience with lots of encouragement to try a variety of performing skills using modern pop and musical theatre styles.
The Star Academy will be split into two groups: age 4 to 9 and 9-17 and they will explore both musical theatre and the commercial genres of the performing arts. Once again they will be encouraged to learn new skills whilst having fun and making new friends.

The Street Dance group for children age 4 upwards will appeal to many boys and girls regardless of any previous experience.

“We are excited to be bringing a wide range of performing arts styles to Eurocamp this summer and are confident that we have something that can inspire all ages of children,” adds Denise. “The competition is a fantastic way of kick starting the holiday season and we hope it encourages lots of children to get into dance and create an active start to the New Year.

Over the next few months, Razzamataz will be looking to recruit the best teachers to work with the children in the Eurocamp resorts. There are many opportunities within the franchise theatre school network for teachers in the UK and overseas as well as theatre school owners.

There are almost 50 Razzamataz schools throughout the UK with new schools opening every year. The Dragons’ Den backed theatre school franchise offers exceptional part-time training in dance, drama and singing together with exciting opportunities to perform. Classes are for children from age two to 18 and allow students to experience a range of performance styles from classic West End musical theatre to street dance and pop singing.

If you want to find out more about becoming a franchisee of your own part-time Razzamataz Theatre School, make an appointment to come along to one of the regular but informal Discovery Den days in London, Glasgow or Sheffield to find out more about this exciting and flexible business opportunity.
