Seeing your child’s genuine love for acting, singing and dance unfold is magical and naturally, you want to help nurture it and give them every opportunity to thrive. But if that passion is for the performing arts, and you’ve no experience of the industry yourself, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming. You want the very best for your child. You want safe opportunities, proper training, and real progression. But where do you begin? From auditions and headshots to finding a reputable agent, the pathway into professional performance isn’t always clear.
That’s where Razzamataz Theatre Schools provides a structured, supportive and trusted route into the industry by creating real, professional opportunities for children and young people who are serious about performing. Through official partnerships with leading talent agencies, students can access professional representation and casting opportunities while continuing their training in a safe, nurturing environment.

What Should My Child Do After School If They Want to Perform Professionally?
For many families, the biggest question comes after GCSEs or A Levels: What’s the right next step? Drama school? University? Foundation course? Straight into auditions? The truth is, there isn’t one single route into the performing arts industry and that’s why guidance and support are so important.
At Razzamataz, we don’t just focus on getting students through their weekly classes. We help them (and you) plan for the bigger picture. Through our Next Steps programme, young people and their families receive tailored advice about the routes available to them, whether that’s applying for performing arts colleges, pursuing university, seeking representation, or building experience alongside further training.
We also understand that professional training can come with financial pressure. That’s why the Razzamataz Future Fund supports students through an audition process, offering financial assistance to help remove barriers and make high-level training more accessible.
Even before students reach that stage, we ensure they’re developing the core skills colleges and agents look for. Specialised programmes such as Razz Project Intense focus on advanced technique, performance discipline and audition preparation, giving serious performers the edge they need when applying for competitive courses.
And the support doesn’t stop when students leave. Our Encore newsletter keeps former students connected to the Razzamataz community, sharing casting opportunities, industry news and celebrating alumni success stories. Once you’re part of Razzamataz, you remain part of a network that champions your progress.
