Meet the Team

At Razzamataz, we don’t just tell you how to be a successful franchisee — we show you. Nick Furlong is the Principal of Razzamataz Sutton Coldfield, celebrating an incredible ten years in business. This year, together with his wife Gemma, the two were recognised for their dedication, innovation and commitment by being awarded the prestigious Franchisee of the Year for Excellence.

Nick’s journey is a wonderful example of what’s possible within our network. From building a thriving school in his local community to consistently delivering outstanding experiences for students and families, he embodies the passion and professionalism that define Razzamataz.

Now, Nick will be joining the Head Office team as Franchise Development and Brand Director, strengthening the support offered to all Principals and ensuring our brand continues to grow with clarity, creativity and purpose. With his hands-on experience, he will join the other team members to play a key role in mentoring franchisees, enhancing brand standards and driving sustainable growth across the network. We’re incredibly proud to have Nick stepping into this new chapter with us.

  1. What excites you most about your role

The opportunity to help shape and strengthen a brand that I’ve been part of for many years. Razzamataz has always been about more than just running classes, it’s about creating life-changing experiences for young people through the arts, while also supporting franchisees to build successful, sustainable businesses. I’m particularly excited about working at the intersection of brand and franchise development. Ensuring the brand is strong, clear and consistent across the network is incredibly important, but so is making sure franchisees feel supported, confident and equipped to grow their schools.

2. How will your role help support franchisees and shape the next stage of growth

Ultimately, strong franchisees and a strong brand go hand in hand. By supporting both, we help create a network that is ambitious, professional and well positioned for continued growth. Having experienced the journey of building a school myself, I understand both the opportunities and the challenges franchisees face, and I’m excited to use that experience to help strengthen the network even further.

3. What advice can you offer people thinking of investing in the network

My biggest piece of advice would be to really understand the opportunity that comes with being part of a network like Razzamataz. You’re not starting a business completely on your own, you’re joining a community of people who share knowledge, experience and support one another. Like any business, success takes commitment, energy and a willingness to keep learning. For anyone passionate about the arts, education and working with young people, it’s a fantastic opportunity to build something meaningful in their local community while being supported by an established and respected brand.
