Will I be flown back to my home town at the end of the contract?

We will endeavour to get you to your chosen airport upon your return to the UK. Please be aware that First Choice provide these flights and are governed by their availability constraints and cannot guarantee that they will be able to get you ‘to you door’.

Is training paid?

Yes, training is paid. If you arrive late, this will be deducted from your wage.

Can I take any time off?

No, so please do not ask for time off for weddings etc.

What is the working week?

You will work 6 days per week and an average of 6 days a week and a total of 31.25 hours per week.

What does the audition entail?

We will ask you to demonstrate between 2-5 minutes of your preferred discipline, using your fellow auditionees as ‘students’. You must prepare lessons for all three age groups (Juniors 5-8, Inters 9-11, Seniors 12-16) and both styles (musical theatre and commercial) and we will request a selection of these on the day. If time allows, we may also ask you to demonstrate the other disciplines you have stated you are qualified/experience to teach on your application form in the section ‘Teaching’, again you should prepare for all age groups and both styles. We are looking for double/triple threats preferably so will endeavour to see your 2nd and possibly even 3rd discipline.

There is also an interview section to the audition – this will consist of various questions including ‘Sell me a Stage Academy’!

There will also, if time allows be a ‘Shout Out’ section of the audition day - this is your chance to perform and shine! In resort, there may be an opportunity for you to perform after the Razzamataz Stage Academy presentation, so we’d like to see your “2 minutes of Fame”! Please keep in mind the target audience when preparing this.
