Razzamataz York students perform at local events.These are great opportunities for students to showcase their skills.
Recent events have included Monks Cross Reindeer Xmas Spectacular, Performing at the Ice Factor launch at York designer outlet, and for Thomas Cook .
Summer Term: Starts 21st April -14th July (Off 2nd June).
Razzamataz York are also offering Arts Awards to our inter & Senior groups from January 2012.Details on request.

Welcome to Razzamataz York !
Principal Angela is thrilled to have so many eager and entusiastic students. .Our school is Fun, Fresh and Funky with dynamic and vibrant teachers.
Due to popular demand we now run 2 groups of Minis and 2 groups of Juniors. Spaces are strictly limited as our adult child ratio is 1:10 for under 9's and 1:7 for under 6's. This not only ensures quality tuition but also gives you peace of mind that your children are in safe hands with our fully qualified, CRB checked, trained teachers and their assistants.

Meet our Teachers. Paul (drama) Hannah (singing) and Stef (dance), James Aconley, Singing/Drama. Hannah is a graduate from York St Johns University & Stef Trained at Anne Masons Dance school in Manchester.Paul is a graduate from Northumbria University. James is a vocal tutor from Scarborough and a professional performer. James background is Musical Theatre and has appeared in many productions around the country.
Also on board to help out are our teaching assistants Rachel and Holly. Final year students from York St Johns.
We will be bringing you a full entertainment programme from Pop Singing , Street Dance & Musical Theatre.
Razzamataz Yorks talented teachers will be nurturing & developing our students in all aspects of performing arts , and at the end of term parents will be invited along for a presentation on students progress.
This term our Summer Showcase is a Shrek variety show.
The students are eagerly awaiting their costumes !

A week long academy filled with dance, drama & singing ending in an end of week mini presentation to parents.
Pop singing , musical theatre, street dance, presentation & performance skills, acting. Just a few of the things we will be doing this week.
Come along meet new friends , have fun .
All children will recieve a certificate at the end of the week.
RAZZ YORK HAS TALENT !!
This was a fantastic event enjoyed by Students & parents. It certainly gave everyone the chance to shine in their own individual style. We had dancers,singers,actors and a combination off all 3 in some cases.The judges had a really tough decision
Lucas Wells(12) danced his way to a First Prize of a six month free scholarship !! James did a funky number from grease. Look out Billy Elliot you have competition here !
James Fox came 2nd with a dramatic sketch about the economy. 50% off fees
Finally Jasmine Brown was 3rd with an intriging mix of dance & drama.10% off fees
A very big well done to all 18 entrants who astounded the judges with a wide range of talents.
We will certainly be hosting this again next year !

Hi Angela,
Just a big thankyou to you and all the staff at razzamataz. We joined from the start when you first opened in york. From the taster session to the classes everyone,s been great and the kids settled in straight away and enjoy coming.
Isaac who is 4 has benefitted especially as he had been attending speech therapy for 18 months but when he started school we didnt want to take him out to go to speech therapy.
After one parents evening the teacher did comment to say he is very quiet. Then at the next one she said she had seen a massive improvement in the last 3 weeks and asked us what we had been doing differently a home or if he had started speech therapy again.
The only thing we had done differently was that 5 weeks earlier he had started razzamataz !!!!
Amazing that its brought him out of his shell. He,s more confident and due to this his speech is loads better and he is 95% understandable now.

May I congratulate you in providing a wonderful opportunity for our children. ''Razz York'', where our 9 year old daughter has been attending since last year. She would describe her Saturday morning drama sessions as the most favourite thing she does. She has attended other drama groups in York since she was 3 years old, but none of these in our opinion compare to Razz.
Dropping her off at drama is such a pleasure, Angela and her staff have an amazing way of running a business with such professionalism , but also manage to make it feel so homely and friendly.
