Maidstone Youngsters Prove they have Talent! Over 40 young people from across Medway and Maidstone auditioned for our 2012 scholarships. We are proud to annouce Lois Barrett Smith and Maisy Dance as our Winners of this year's competition and Jade Capeling and Kirstie McAlpin as our runners up! Our independent judges, Musical Theatre Star Sally Hunt, Holby City's Dr Valentine Neil Roberts and Street Dance Legends The Soul Branch were stunned by the amount of talent, it was incredibly hard to judge! This is the second year we have run this event and last year's winner went on to win the Razzamataz National Scholarhship in association with the Stage Newspaper! Congratulations to our winners and everyone who took part!

Over 100 students from Razz Maidstone & Medway join to sing Christmas songs at the Chequers Centre and raise £109 for Make-A-Wish Foundation!  Razz Juniors, Inters & Seniors took to the Chequer's Centre to sing in the centre's Xmas Carol Factor to raise money for Charity.  We had an amazing crowd and brilliant support from Family and Friends raising a whopping amount for Make-A-Wish!

Students from Medway & Maidstone help switch on the Maidstone Christmas Lights! Senior students from both schools combined to sing a selection of festive songs arranged as a christmas medley.  The students did brilliantly and are looking forward to the Xmas Carol Factor early December at The Chequer's Centre!

The Soul Branch - Kent's No. 1 Street Dance / Break Dancing Crew visit Razz Maidstone! The Soul Branch, formerly Open Circle, have represented the UK in the European Street Dance Championships.  The crew who achieved first place at the Brighton Fringe Festival came along to share their knowledge of street dance / Hip Hop, explored the fascinating history and taught some ground busting moves!  We even had our own Bboying battle at the end of the session - a great opportunity for our students to work with leaders in their field!

We are delighted to offer all New Razzamataz Students a FREE 12 months membership to the YMCA worth £10!  The YMCA Card offers discounted prices for all acvtivities within the centre - including Roller Skating, Multi Sports, Zumba and Court and Pitch hire!

Meet the Team

Due to HUGE success at Razzamataz Medway, the same Principal and Team bring you Razzamataz Maidstone!   

Principal Hayley and her team of fabulous teachers, Victoria, Sam, Emily C, Emily S and Charlotte have just finished their first VERY successful year at Razzamataz Medway....senior students performed on the local radio station KMFM, have been invited to perform at local events and presented their first showcase...all in just 3 terms!  Hayley and her team are really excited about bringing these opportunities to the young people of Maidstone!

Hayley, whose professional dancing work has taken her around the world, and the team bring a wealth of experience, training, inside industry knowledge and 'know how', free West End Master Classes as part of the curriculum and share a real passion for teaching.

Emily S is our dance teacher and is a professional, commerical dancer working with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar on the film 'Helloo India' and UK Superstar Alexandra Burke as one of her backing dancers! Emily has also worked with choreographers of Beyonce, Rhianna and Michael Jackson's 'This is It'. 

Our Vocal Coach, Samyouel Young, may be remembered from ITV's 'Grease is the Word' in 2006 when he made it through to the final stages of 'Boot Camp'! Sam recently performed in The Boyfriend in the West End and is also an inspiring song writer.

Victoria our drama teacher has been teaching and directing for 10 years.  Victoria trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and achieved her Masters Dregree in Acting for Radio, Television and Film from East 15.  Victoria hs been working professionally for the last 15 years and can be currently seen in the King.com adverts!  Some of you may have seen her on the Domino's adverts supporting Britain's Got Talent!

We are really pleased to be holding our classes at the newly renovated YMCA in Maidstone.   Maidstone YMCA has just opened a brand new Sports Centre on the old Loose site with 'state of the art' studios and fitness space..along with a starbucks!

Term dates:

Term Starts (Tuesday Classes):  24th April - 24th July 2012 (No classes 29th May or 5th June due to half term & Jubilee break).

Term dates (Saturday Classes):  21st April - 21st July 2012 (No classes 2nd June & 9th June due to half term & Jubilee break).

Fee Details

Payment options for a 12 week term

Minis: £100 or three separate payments of £34.33 or Standing Order £26.00 per month

Juniors: £195.00 three separate payments of £66.00 or standing order £49.75 per month (just over £5 per class).

Inters/Seniors: £220.00 three separate payments of £74.33 or standing order £56.00 per month (just over £6 per hour).

Siblings receive a 50% discount! If there are 3 siblings, the 3rd sibling is FREE!
