We offer high quality, affordable training for children aged 4-18 years in the Performing Arts. We offer classes in Singing, Dance and Drama in Musical Theatre and Commercial styles. Having Ashmole Academy as our fantastic venue gives us a very modern music and drama block with recording studio and
purpose built rooms.

Great to have Gary Comerford pop in for the launch of Razzmataz Barnet. Gary has appeared in The King's Speech, Clash of the Titans, the Harry Potter movies and also the new Johnny Depp film Dark Shadows. Principal Michael knows Gary from filming War Horse together.

qualification to students accredited by Arts Council England and
Trinity.
Introducing the team-
Principal - Michael French
Michael trained at Performers college in Essex, graduating in 2000. Since college he has worked in many aspects of performing arts. Theatre include- Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, West Side Story, My One and Only, Babes In Arms, Elisabeth, 3 Musketeers, 42nd Street and Singin' In The Rain. He has backed Elton John, George Michael, Geri Haliwell, Michael Buble, Gloria Gaynor and Engelbert Humperdinck. More recently he has turned to TV and film in War Horse, Captain America, The Hour, Holby City, M.I. High, Parades End.
Dance - Catriona Johnston
Catriona
Johnston has worked extensively as a choreographer, dance teacher and
performer. Catriona graduated from the Northern School of Contemporary
dance in 2005 and recently studied at the Scottish School of
Contemporary dance. She has choreographed, taught and performed
for many dance theatre companies including; Sadler's Wells/London Youth
Dance, East London Dance, Act2Drama, Sakoba Dance Theatre, Barefoot
Productions, The Great British Circus, and Fusion Dance Company.
Catriona has an array of experience in the following dance styles;
Musical Theatre, Street dance, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, African dance
and Cheerleading. She is also an experienced Circus Artist. She is a
friendly and encouraging dance teacher whose objective is to make each
student enjoy dance and the experience of performing, as well as
enabling each student to appreciate the benefits of learning a
challenging and rewarding discipline.
Singing - Casey Dearing
Casey
graduated from leading drama school Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts
in September 2011 completing a masters degree in Musical Theatre where
she gained much experience in both the techniques of singing, dance and
drama, and extensive training in performance. Casey has been performing
since age eleven, taking on many lead roles such as Maureen in Rent,
Josephina in When Midnight Strikes, Alex in Witches of Eastwick and most
recently Poncia in Bernarda Alba with prestigious Musical Director
Peter White (Legally Blonde, Les Miserables). Previous to drama school
Casey was awarded a First Class BA Hons Degree in Performing Arts in
2010 from Canterbury Christ Church University.
Drama - Lee Colley
Lee has been working in the performing arts industry for many years now in many aspects from acting, directing and also teaching. Having trained at Italia Conti Academy and gaining his LAMDA Gold he has gone on to appear in Band Of Brothers, Holby City, Brasseye, Red Cap, The Bill and numerous other television programmes and films. He has just completed a run of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest at the Lost Theatre playing Billy Bibbit.
Being a very versatile actor with a wealth of knowledge in the industry, Lee brings some real know-how of the world of performing arts to the team.
VENUE: Ashmole Academy, Cecil Road, London, N14 5RJ. We will be using the purpose built music and drama block.
TERM DATES: SUMMER: 28th April - 21st July 2012. Half term 9th June.
CLASS TIMES & FEES:
Payment options for a 12 week term
Minis Age 4-5:
1:30pm to 2:30pm - £100 per term
Juniors Age 6-8:
2:45pm to 5:10pm - £195 per term
Inters Age 9-12:
2:30pm to 5:30pm - £230 per term
Seniors Age 12-18:
2:30pm to 5:30pm - £230.00 per term
Payment can be made by standing order or in full or 3 post-dated cheques
Siblings get a 50% discount off their fees! (The discount applies to the youngest child)
If 3 siblings: 1st two pay full price and 3rd goes completely FREE!
