Rebrand for Dragons’ Den success story

Razzamataz Theatre Schools, the part time performing arts franchise that appeared on Dragons’ Den in 2007 has welcomed the New Year with a new look and new website.

The brand new website is accompanied by a general rebrand, reflecting the direction of the company over the last few years, which has enjoyed strong and steady growth.

Razzamataz has built up a reputation for offering the very latest trends in performing arts as well as traditional musical theatre from classic and new West End shows.

Students are captivated by the fun atmosphere and quickly build up their confidence to become part of the Razzamataz family. The new website will capture the feeling that the schools across the UK create and will show many of the amazing opportunities that children can enjoy.

A big part of the design and content is to share the students’ stories. From the shyest child who has gained the confidence to speak on stage to those that are securing professional work in the West End and on screen.

“Every week we get sent a lovely email by a parent from one of our schools thanking the Principal and staff for making such a positive change in their child,” explains Denise Hutton-Gosney, MD and Founder of Razzamataz. “This is what inspired us to include ‘Our Stories’ on the new website as well as a new blog that keeps our students motivated and informed about what the Razzamataz network is up to. It was very obvious to us that to best promote our schools we just needed to let our current students have their say.”

The new design will also improve SEO to reach out to more students as well as people looking to invest in a Razzamataz franchise.

Since Duncan Bannatyne gave his seal of approval, the business has consistently grown with many new schools opening up every few months. The investment in the website and branding shows how committed the company is to improving the marketing for current franchisees and reaching out to people looking to invest in a new franchise.

“When Razzamataz first came to the Den, I could spot the potential of the business,” says Duncan Bannatyne. “With hard work, dedication and attracting some top class franchisees, Razzamataz has grown throughout the recession and I’m proud to be part of their story.”

2015 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for Razzamataz. “Our business turns 15 this year and I’m incredible proud of the amazing achievements of many of our franchisees,” says Denise Hutton-Gosney, MD and Founder of Razzamataz.

“Lots of our Principals have recently had babies and are combing parenthood with running a successful business, we have a number of young graduates who are proving to be successful entrepreneurs and the business is also showing that it is successful when friends share the running of the franchise. This investment sends a very positive message that Razzamataz is a healthy business opportunity and we are excited to recruit the best that is out there.”

With 15 years’ experience behind Razzamataz, the theatre school has built up considerable knowledge about various sectors including franchise businesses, performing arts, children’s activities and health and fitness. This wealth of information is now to be shared through a new Razzamataz Digital Newsletter, which will provide newsworthy editorial content for those interested in investing in a Razzamataz franchise.

To celebrate 15 years of business, Razzamataz is offering a special promotion with a £2,015 reduction for 2015, a saving from the original fee of £9,995 plus VAT.
