At a time of recession when many young people are facing up to a long and lengthy search for a job, Razzamataz is proud to announce that they are recruiting teachers for their prestigious contracts with Thomson Family Resort, First Choice Villages, Haven, Center Parcs and Carnival Cruises in both the UK and overseas.
Razzamataz will be featured in 16 Thomson Family Resorts this year: Thomson Holiday Family Plus and First Choice Villages. This is the fourth successful season that Razzamataz has featured at Thomson holidays and once again during the main summer period, children aged between 5-16 holidaying at the resorts will learn a broad range of skills from pop singing and street dance to musical theatre and drama. At the end of each week, the youngsters will have the fantastic opportunity to perform to guests on the main hotel stage.
Razzamataz is searching for tutors of dance, drama and singing for their overseas and UK posts. Teachers will need to be able to create classes to inspire budding young performers who wish to learn new skills whilst on their summer holiday. “We are giving the children on holiday a chance to do something they might not ordinarily get to try when at home so it is really important that their first taste of the performing arts is a really positive experience,” says Founder and Managing Director of Razzamataz Denise Hutton-Gosney.
“The teachers we recruit don’t need to have lots of experience but they do need lots of energy and enthusiasm and a real passion for the performing arts. This is an exciting opportunity for those in the profession to get some invaluable teaching experience and to make a real impact on their CV.”
Razzamataz first came to prominence when Director Denise Hutton-Gosney appeared on BBC’s Dragons’ Den in 2007. After a well-delivered pitch, multi-millionaire Duncan Bannatyne offered the full investment to make Razzamataz one of the fastest growing part-time theatre schools in the UK.
